I am an artist, an optimist, and a wife, a mom to three, and a two armed, tight hugger. I love wide smiles and loud belly laughs with my mouth opened. I believe in capturing the everydayness of life as much as the precious moments because they are all special. So take all the pictures. Love on all the people. Spread joy and be joy.
I launched my studio as a fine art + interior design business several years ago, but today I operate it fully as an art studio. On canvas, my art aesthetic leans toward colorful abstract art that is often heavily textured. But with all my creations, whether on canvas, a journal, or wrapping paper, I am led by color and composition.
My creative process comes from something a bit deeper, an unexplainable place of peace that encompasses my intuition, images and sounds, and life experiences. The blending of these things guide the movement of my hands and inspire me to create something that does not exist - paintings that are richly layered with texture, depth of color, beautiful rhythm, and meaning. Products that show how nicely my original art can transfer from canvas to all kinds of surfaces. And other products that celebrate the beauty of skin and hair that look like mine.
I’ve been told that my work evokes feeling, sets the mood, and often starts the conversation in the room. My goal is to create original art for you that represent and connect with you and me!

I discovered my gift of drawing in the 3rd grade while working on a mural for my elementary school play. The lion turned out pretty dope.
Growing up, I drew plans to help my dad build or repair small projects around our home, and helped my mom upholster furnishings.
I was a musician for over 10 years and learned to play 5 instruments. And to this day I cry every time I watch high school bands play or choral performances. Brings back such great childhood memories for me.
My educational background is in Engineering Graphics & 3D Modeling. I even have a Doctorate in Education. My fav class ever was pottery.
